The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is mother-in-law of the victim of dowry death.

Considering the general and omnibus nature of allegation against the petitioner a Bench of this Court had ordered no coercive step against the petitioner on 16.11.2019 and the case-diary was called for. The case-diary also contains general and vague allegation. The husband and father-in-law of the victim have already been allowed bail in this case. The

Hence, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of the order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Mohammadpur Police Station Case No.260 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure as well as condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
