No.1967 of 2012, arising out of Complaint Case No.67 of 2011, registered for the offence under Sections- 498A of I.P.C. and 4 of D.P. Act. Apprehending his arrest, the petitioner filed A.B.P. No.605 of 2012 in the court of learned District Sessions Judge, Muzaffarpur which was rejected through order dated 30.5.2012. Hence, this application for grant of anticipatory bail under Section-438 of Cr.P.C. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
It is rather unfortunate that an application for anticipatory bail, that too in relation to offence referable
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24733 of 2012 (6) dt.10-03-2015 2/2 to Section-498A is pending before this Court since such a long time. The application is allowed.
In the event of arrest, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail upon furnishing the bailbond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) along with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur in connection with Complaint Case No.67 of 2011, Tr. No.1967 of 2012.
