Petitioner is accused in connection with Majhaulia P.S. Case No. 09 of 2014 registered under Sections 304B/34 of the I.P.C.

The accusation is that the daughter of the informant was married to Satrudhan sharma on 28.04.2013 but her husband, father-in-law, brothers-in-law and mother-in-law burnt her to death on 14.12.2013 due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. When the informant went to her house on 27.12.2013, he was informed that her daughter was taken to Hospital for treatment at Sugauli and from there he came to know that her in-laws had taken her to Patna for treatment.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5228 of 2015 (3) dt.02-09-2015 2/2 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that F.I.R. was lodged on 08.02.2014 after twenty-two days of the death of daughter of the informant. Petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased. It is also submitted that petitioner, having no criminal antecedent, is in custody since 28.08.2014.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of C.J.M., West Champaran, Bettiah in connection with Majhaulia P.S. Case No. 09 of 2014.
