The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Khagaria (Mahila) P.S. case No. 12 of 2014 under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. The informant alleged that Uttam Yadav had talk for marriage of his son, Uday Kumar, with the daughter of informant but the marriage was not settled. The informant gave Rs. five lacs with other ornaments but petitioners refused to marry with the daughter of informant and the petitioners demanded additional dowry.
The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the marriage was not settled and only negotiation was going on for

The bridegroom was not willing to marry that is why the informant filed this case making false and frivolous allegations. It is further submitted that Panches settled the dispute and the petitioners returned the money spent for the negotiation.
Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegations made against the petitioners, the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Khagaria in Khagaria (Mahila) P.S. Case No. 12 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
