Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Majhaulia P.S. Case No.426 of 2017 registered under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation in brief is that within seven months of marriage, the wife of the petitioner was done to death on account of non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the wife of the petitioner committed suicide and there was no demand of dowry made by any members of the family. Having considered the specific accusation against the petitioner, the husband of the deceased, the Court is not persuaded to grant him bail at this stage.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39461 of 2018(2) dt.09-07-2018 2/2 Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected with a direction to the trial court to expedite the trial. However, the petitioner may renew his prayer of bail after examination of the informant.
