The petitioner seeks bail in Dhaka P.S. Case No. 80/2018, registered for the offence punishable under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation is demand of ransom of Rs. 10 lacs send by S.M.S. on mobile of informant from the mobile of petitioner. It has been submitted that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. His name surfaced in the case only on the basis of recovery of said mobile from which extortion was demanded.

Petitioner is in custody since 26.03.2018.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above-

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40060 of 2018 (3) dt.17-09-2018 2/2 named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sikarahana at Dhaka, East Champaran in connection with Dhaka P.S. Case No. 80/2018 (S. Kumar, J) Vinita/- U T
