ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL ORDER 27-05-2015 Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State. The Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in a case instituted for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 386, 427 and 323 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering that the Petitioner was named subsequently during investigation and he has criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the Petitioner in connection with Begusarai Muffasil P.S. Case No. 368 of 2014 pending before Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai. The prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. The Petitioner is directed to immediately surrender before the Court below, failing which, the Court below shall take stringent steps for ensuring arrest of the Petitioner.
