JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 20-05-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioners seek bail in a case registered under Section-307 & other minor sections of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioners and several other FIR named accused made obstruction, when the informant and other officials went to remove encroachment from an acquired land. Furthermore, it is alleged that the officials were, mercilessly, assaulted by petitioners and their associates.

Submission on behalf of petitioners is that the lands of petitioners were acquired without making payment of compensation to them and the officials wanted to take possession

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21977 of 2016 (2) dt.20-05-2016 2/2 of the aforesaid lands, which was opposed by petitioners, resulting institution of the present case.

Considering the above-said facts and circumstances of the case as well as submission of the parties, let the petitioners named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Bhagwanpur P.S.
