On 22.2.2017, learned counsel for the State took adjournment to place on record an affidavit in respect of his averment that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed. After serving a copy of the supplementary counter affidavit on 9.7.2017 to the counsel for the petitioner, the same has been filed in this case specifically stating that the petitioner has been given all the retrial benefits along with arrears of ACP and the Earned leave. No rejoinder to the suppl. counter affidavit has been filed nor the counsel for the petitioner is present in the court. In views of the stand of the State, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
