JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 21-03-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1. a. For direction upon the respondent authorities particularly the Respondents No. 3 & 4 to submit its recommendation to the State Government as per resolution of the State Govt. issued under the signature of the Principal Secretary, Agriculture Department, Bihar, Patna vide memo no.160 dt.11.01-2018.

b. For direction to the respondent authorities under the State Govt. to take necessary decision forthwith and treat the degree of agriculture and allied subjects equivalent to health and engineering degree.

3/4 c. For direction to the respondents to provide all facilities to the Members of Agriculture and allied subject like the officers of engineering and health service.

d. For further direction to the Respondents No. 1 & 2 to enhance the grade pay of agriculture coordinator who are graduate in Agriculture Science / Animal Husbandry / Fisheries / Agriculture Engineering /Horticulture /Forestry /Dairy Technology from grade pay 2800/-, pay scale 5200-20,200/- to grade pay 4200 at least at par with Block Agriculture Officer and place them in Group-'Kh'

also as they are discharging almost same duties in the department."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the Director Agriculture, Bihar, Patna i.e. the respondent no. 2 for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case the petitioners approach the Director Agriculture, Bihar, Patna i.e. the respondent no. 2, by filing

4/4 appropriate representations, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be disposed of by a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, thereafter. The writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
