The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Complaint Case No.77C of 2015 registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The complainant made allegation of demand of dowry and torture against her husband and the petitioners who are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the complainant. It appears that the husband of the complainant firstly filed a petition for restitution of conjugal rite, but the complainant did not respond
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.13008 of 2017 (3) dt.23-05-2017 positively. Thereafter, her husband filed divorce case. Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the complainant, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Patna in connection with Complaint Case No.77C of 2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
