The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No.506 of 2018 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 353, 307, 188, 427, 120B and 505 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that on 04.09.2018 at about 08.00 A.M., the informant being the Circle Officer, Sadar, Gopalganj, on the direction of the Sub Divisional Officer, Sadar, Gopalganj, was deputed as Magistrate to maintain law and order at Ambedkar Chowk Gopalganj. At that time, suddenly, for the recovery of three girls, kidnapped by some miscreants, under the leadership of Neyaz Ahmad, 300-400 people raising the slogan against the police

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57088 of 2019(2) dt.09-09-2019 2/2 administration blockade the Kaushalya Chowk, Banjari Chowk, Ghosh More, Hospital Chowk and Post Office Chowk. At that time, 15 persons including the petitioner were identified. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the similarly situated co-accused Neyaz Ahmad and 13 others have already been granted the privilege of pre-arrest bail by a Bench of this Court vide order dated 20.12.2018 passed in Criminal Misc. No.65817 of 2018. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender by him within six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj, in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No.506 of 2018, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
