The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sonpur P. S. Case No. 453 of 2015, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 323, 324, 307, 379 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation against the petitioner is of stabbing the informant, causing serious injuries to him and also snatched cash of the informant.
Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case due to enmity and the allegation against the petitioner is totally false and concocted. It is further submitted that the petitioner has been implicated only on the basis of suspicion and the petitioner is in
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.44964 of 2018 (3) dt.06-09-2018 2/2 custody since 16.06.2017.
Heard learned A.P.P. also who opposed the prayed for bail.
Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the appellant at this stage. However, as the petitioner is in custody, since the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial. With the aforesaid observation, this appeal is dismissed. (Vinod Kumar Sinha, J) Sudha/- U T
