The petitioner seeks bail in Jandaha P.S. Case No. 250 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable punishable under Sections 30(a), 38(i), 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

2630.880 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from the house of co-accused Binod Singh and 540 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from the house of co-accused Survind Paswan.

It is submitted that no recovery has been made from conscious possession of this petitioner or from premises of petitioner. Name of petitioner has come during course of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67625 of 2021(2) dt.21-12-2021 2/2 investigation. Petitioner is in custody since 10.09.2021. Investigation is complete.

Learned APP however vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner has got criminal antecedent and eight cases of similar nature are pending against him. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge II-cum-Excise Court, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Jandaha P.S. Case No. 250 of 2020, once the charge is framed in the case.
