2. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction upon the respondents for payment of all his retiral benefits along with the statutory interest.

3. The matter was taken up on 10.05.2024 and this Court while taking note of the counter affidavit filed on behalf of respondent no.6 wherein it is stated that the original service book of the petitioner along with other relevant documents has

Patna High Court CWJC No.13831 of 2023 dt.30-06-2026 2/2 been submitted to the office of Accountant General, Bihar, Patna for its approval vide letter no. 1812 dated 10.10.2023 for payment of pension and gratuity has directed the respondent no.7, the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna to seek instruction and file counter affidavit.

4. Mr. Arun Kumar Arun, learned Advocate for the Accountant General submitted that on receipt of the necessary documents and service book, the Pension Payment Order with respect to admissible gratuity has already been issued much earlier.

5. Having considered the stand of the learned Advocate for the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna, the present writ petition stands disposed of.

6. However, in case, the petitioner has any grievance with respect to calculation of amount under the gratuity head, he shall be at liberty to approach before the concerned authority, who shall look into the matter and take appropriate action.
