The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Noor Sarai P.S. Case No.16 of 2016 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 379 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and also Section 3(1)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is no truth behind the allegation made in the FIR. Most of the injuries sustained by the informant and his father were found to be simple in nature. It is also submitted that one of the co-accused, namely, Mithilesh Kumar has already been granted
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21710 of 2016 (2) dt.19-05-2016 2/2 bail by the court below.
Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.
Regard being had to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, namely, Sintu Kumar, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda at Bihar Sharif in connection with Noor Sarai P.S.
