JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 05-09-2018 Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 09.11.2017 passed in Cr.Misc.No. 49886 of 2017 and allegation against the petitioner is of committing rape on five years old daughter of the informant. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is in custody since 22.7.2017 and charge has been framed in this case and not a single witness has been examined. Heard learned APP also.

Having heard both sides and in view of allegation, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, as the petitioner is in custody for more than one year, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conduct it on regular basis so that the trial may be concluded

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.47045 of 2018 (4) dt.05-09-2018 2/2 within a reasonable time.
