2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bibhutipur P.S. Case No. 171 of 2020 registered for the offence under Sections 392 of the Indian Penal Code and cognizance has been taken under Section 392 & 411 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and others are said to have looted Rs. 55,000/-, laptop, cheque book, A.T.M. cards, mobile etc. from the informant but the looted mobile has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is accused in 9 more cases.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 8.4.2021.

Considering the criminal antecedents of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59904 of 2023(3) dt.08-11-2023 2/2 petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected herewith.

The District Judge, Samastipur is directed to expedite the trial of all the cases in one court pending against the petitioner.
