Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307, 427, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Subsequently, Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code was added.

It is alleged that the petitioner being the brother of the husband of the victim poured Kerosene Oil on the informant and lit the fire.

Subsequently, the victim succumbed to the burnt injury.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that during investigation independent witnesses have suggested that after having quarrel with the husband, the victim put herself on fire.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23064 of 2016 (2) dt.23-05-2016 Considering the specific accusation against the petitioner, let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Brauli P.S. Case No. 239 of 2015, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj. With the above observation this application is disposed of.
