2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 4 of the POCSO Act and Sections 3 (ii) (v) of the SC/ST Act.

3. In pursuance to the order dated 19.04.2024, status report of trial in connection with Phenhara P.S. Case No. 48 of 2020 has been received and kept at Flag-R, in which it is reported that out of total 10 charge-sheeted witnesses, 7 have been examined and the trial is likely to take about four months in its conclusion.

4. Considering the present stage of the trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his payer for bail is rejected in connection with Phenhara P.S. Case No. 48 of 2020 pending before the court of the learned 7th Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, POCSO Act, East Champaran.
