2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Salimpur P.S. Case No. 37 of 2024 instituted under Sections 302 and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and other co-accused persons are alleged to have killed the sister of the informant and thrown her dead body in the river Ganga.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. The petitioner is the uncle (Chacha) of the deceased.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61454 of 2024(2) dt.04-09-2024 2/2 and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner, above named, be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned J.M., 1st Class, Barh, District-Patna/concerned Court in connection with Salimpur P.S. Case No. 37 of 2024, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
