Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

From a four wheeler country made liquor was recovered and the petitioners were apprehended from that vehicle. Petitioners have stated on oath that they have got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the entire facts, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail after completion of investigation on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.54806 of 2019(2) dt.05-09-2019 2/2 each to the satisfaction of learned court below where the case is pending in connection with Khaira (Nagra) Police Station Case No.259 of 2019, subject to condition that both the bailors shall be resident of the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and the petitioners shall fully co-operate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioners.
