JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH) Date: 14-09-2015 This application, in the nature of public interest litigation, has been filed, seeking direction to respondent Nos.3 and 4, namely, the Vice-Chancellor, Veer Kunwar Singh University, Ara and its Registrar, respectively, for maintaining academic calendar and examinations calendar, as according to the petitioner, the academic sessions of various courses, being conducted in the University, have been got delayed for one reason or the other. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.6111 of 2015 dt.14-09-2015 2/2 respondent-the Veer Kunwar Singh University bringing on record, the examination calendar for the Session 2014-15 as approved by the Academic Council, which shows that the examinations, with respect to which grievance has been made in the present writ application, have already commenced/conducted. In such view of the matter, no direction is required to be issued any further.

This Court, however, expects that the respondents shall make earnest endeavour in future so that the academic sessions of various courses in the University are maintained, as scheduled, and the examinations are held without any delay, in the best interest of the students pursuing their studies in various departments and institutions under the University. This disposes of the application.
