2. Petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Sangrampur P.S. Case No.229 of 2025 registered under Sections 30(a), 32 and 41(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
3. It is alleged that on seeing the police, four persons started fleeing away but on chase they were apprehended. On search, 189.795 litres of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered from the baithka of the house of co-accused Anand Kumar Singh and two motorcycles were seized.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have been falsely implicated in this

The alleged recovery has been made from baithka of the house of co-accused Anand Kumar Singh. There was stampede at the time of chase of the offenders but unfortunately while the petitioners were crossing the road at the very time, they were apprehended on suspicion. Petitioners have no concern with the seized liquor, motorcycles and the place of recovery. Petitioners have no criminal antecedent. Petitioners are in jail since 20.06.2025 and they undertake to cooperate in the trial.
5. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioners.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case as well as the submissions of the parties, let the above named petitioners be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No. 1, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Sangrampur P.S. Case No.229 of 2025. (Sunil Dutta Mishra, J) Harish/- U T
