The petitioner seeks bail in S.Tr. No. 39/2018, arising out of Bahera P.S. Case No. 235/2017, instituted for the offences under Sections 447, 341, 323, 324, 307, 379, 504, 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prayer for bail of petitioner was earlier rejected by order dated 16.10.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 47308/2017. Report of the court below has been received in this case, wherein it has been mentioned that seven witnesses have already been examined and the trial is likely to be concluded within three to four months.

The court below is directed to conclude the trial within

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.50882 of 2018 (3) dt.01-10-2018 2/2 six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order by giving short adjournment.

The petitioner is given liberty to renew his prayer for bail after six months in the event no substantive progress is made in trial.
