The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus or an appropriate writ, order or orders, direction or directions commanding the respondents authorities to pay the arrears of retirement-cum-death benefit i.e. arrears, leave encashment, GPF etc. to the petitioner as his father had died in harness during the service period and the petitioner further prays for the other consequential relief or reliefs for which the petitioner is entitled under the law. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner representing the Patna Municipal Corporation has brought on record the documents dated 16.05.2023 (letter no. 1996) to show

Patna High Court CWJC No.16061 of 2022(3) dt.17-05-2023 2/2 that all the admissible dues relating to death-cum-post retiral has been cleared to the petitioner and a copy whereafter has also been sent to him.
