Patna High Court CWJC No.6183 of 2015 (2) dt.11-01-2016 2/2 11-01-2016 This application has been filed in the nature of Public Interest Litigation seeking direction to the respondents to accept the paddy procurement from the farmers of Kaimur (Bhabhua) at the minimum support price of Rs.1,360/- of the Central Government along with Rs.300/- bonus, as announced by the Government of Bihar, as the paddy crops of the farmers of the concerned locality is being rejected on baseless grounds.
The grievance is based on a newspaper report published on 13.04.2015 which contains statements of some of the persons including a social activist.
Upon perusal of this application, we find that the application lacks foundational facts warranting issuance of direction to the respondents including the relief sought for. We do not find any merit in this application which is accordingly dismissed.
