Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State through virtual mode.
The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 894 of 2022 lodged under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 354, 498(A), 504, 379/34 of the I.P.C. read with Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. As per the prosecution case, the case has been filed against 12 named accused persons in the F.I.R. The prosecution case is primarily relating to Section 498(A), Dowry Prohibition Act alongwith other Sections.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is neither the husband nor the family member rather
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56413 of 2022(2) dt.18-11-2022 2/2 he is a distant relative. Counsel submits that antecedent of the petitioner is clean and he is in custody since 23.08.2022, charge sheet has already been submitted.
Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, let the petitioner above named, be granted bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Araria in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 894 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 437(3) of Cr.P.C.
With this observation, the bail application stands allowed.
