The petitioner seeks bail in Alamgunj P. S. case no. 330 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 498A and Section 3/4 of the D.P. Act.

Petitioner, who is the husband of informant, has been granted provisional bail by co-ordinate Bench of this Court by order dated 4.9.2018 enabling him to appear before the Patna High Court Mediation Centre at once in order to facilitate reconciliation process amongst the spouses.

The Mediator's report dated 22.11.2018 has been received and placed at Flag-X, wherein, it is mentioned that

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52634 of 2018(3) dt.06-12-2018 2/2 mediation between the parties could not be resolved through the process of the mediation.

The petitioner has not surrendered in court below after expiry of period in terms of order dated 4.9.2018. The provisional bail granted by aforesaid order has expired by efflux of time after lapse of eight weeks. But the petitioner has not surrendered in the Court below till date. In view of such, petitioner is directed to surrender in the court below forthwith and make prayer for regular bail which will be considered and disposed off by Court below without being prejudiced by the present order.
