Petitioner seeks bail in Islampur P.S. Case No.265 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) Section 30-A of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged in the written report that 570 Litres Jharkhand made liquor was recovered from the vehicle. This petitioner along with one Shashi Ranjan Kumar was apprehended while trying to flee away.

Petitioner is in custody since 27.07.2018 having clean antecedents.

It has been submitted that co-accused, Shashi

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56286 of 2018 (3) dt.04-10-2018 2/2 Ranjan Kumar, has already been granted bail by this Court by order dated 20.09.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No.55388 of 2018. In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the VI Additional District & Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Nalandat at Biahrsharif, in connection with Islampur P.S. Case No.265 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.

The petitioner will remain present on each and every date of trial and his absence on two consecutive date(s) without any reasonable cause will make his bail bond liable to be cancelled.
