Heard also Mr. K.K. Sinha, learned Senior Counsel, appearing on behalf of the respondent Bank.

It is submitted, on behalf of the petitioner, that since registration of the First Information Report on 05.03.2016, no statement of even the informant has been recorded and, thus, no effective investigation has been carried out in connection with Sheikhpura P.S. Case No.72 of 2016.

Having considered the averments made in the writ petition and materials on record and upon hearing the parties, it is hereby directed that respondent No.3, namely, the Superintendent of Police, Sheikhpura, shall enquire into the grievances raised in

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.594 of 2016 (4) dt.27-07-2016 2/2 the writ petition, do the needful in accordance with law and get the investigation of Sheikhpura P.S. Case No.72 of 2016 completed expeditiously, preferably, within a period of six months, ensuring proper, fair and effective investigation in such a way that no innocent person is harassed and necessary security of the petitioner is taken care of.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
