The petitioner seeks bail in S.Tr. No. 516/2016, arising out of Runnisaidpur P.S. Case No. 349/2016, instituted for the offence under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code. As per written report, the petitioner is main assailant in the case. It is alleged by the informant who is wife of this petitioner that due to some altercation petitioner assaulted his son on head with bamboo danda causing him injury and subsequently he died.

Report of the court below has been received in this case, wherein it is mentioned that out of 10 charge-sheet witnesses, 7 non-official witnesses have been examined including

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56457 of 2018 (3) dt.02-11-2018 2/2 the informant. Doctor and I.O. are summoned for evidence. Accordingly, the present bail petition is disposed off with direction to the court below to make all efforts to finally dispose of the trial within a period of six months and pass final judgment.

Petitioner is given liberty to renew the prayer for bail after six months in the event the trial is not concluded within aforesaid period.
