2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Complaint Case No. 44 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Section 498 A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. The main submissions advanced by the petitioner's counsel are that the petitioner is husband of the complainant ( O.P. No.2) who has filed a complaint against this petitioner upon that basis, cognizance of the offences under Section 498 A of IPC and Section 4 of the D.P. Act has been taken and during
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56654 of 2025(2) dt.19-08-2025 2/2 the course of enquiry, complainant did not produce any documentary evidence to support the allegation of physical cruelty. It is further submitted that the petitioner who is a young person, has been languishing in jail since 02.05.2025.
4. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
5. In the facts and circumstances of this case, as well as considering the aforesaid submissions, this Court is inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the concerned Court in connection with Complaint Case No. 44 of 2022.
