Mr. Vinay Kumar Mishra, learned Advocate for the petitioner, seeks modification of the order dated 25.08.2021 passed in Criminal Appeal (SJ) No. 3040 of 2021.

For the reasons stated in the application, the prayer for extension of time for surrendering of the petitioner before the Court below is also allowed.

The order is modified to the extent that if the petitioner surrenders before the learned Court below within a further period of six weeks from today, he will be accorded the privilege under the order dated 25.08.2021 on the same terms and conditions. With the aforesaid modification, the application stands allowed.
