JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 24-09-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this writ petition is being filed before this Hon'ble High Court on behalf of the aforesaid petitioner for issuance of a writ in the nature of "Certiorari", setting aside the letter contained in memo no. 831 dated 27.07.2024 and the Letter contained in memo no. 725 dated 01.06.2024 respectively, issued by Circle Officer, Futauna, District- Madhubani, by which the petitioner has been directed to vacate the lands appertaining to khata no. 176 (old), khesra no. 611

Patna High Court CWJC No.12746 of 2024(2) dt.24-09-2024 2/2 (old) falling within Mauza Nahari, P.S.- 23/14, Thana Laukaha, Block- Futauna, Sub-Division- Fulparas, over which the only dwelling house of the petitioner is still in existence. Further prayer of the petitioner is for issuance of an appropriate writ/direction to compensate the petitioner for illegal demolition of his residential house."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievance. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
