The present application has been filed for quashing the First Information Report and the proceeding started in connection with Mushari Gharari P.S. Case No. 86/14 instituted under Section 47(A) of the Excise Act and Section 272/273 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner wants the F.I.R. of 2014 to be quashed. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the case is still under investigation.

This Court is surprised as to why the investigation has not been completed in such an old case.

This application is dismissed with liberty to the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58430 of 2022(2) dt.07-04-2023 2/2 petitioner to raise all the grounds at the stage of discharge if any chargesheet is filed.
