2. The instance application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Kundwa Chainpur P.S. Case No. 81 of 2022 instituted for the offence u/s 20(b)(ii)(c), 23(c) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by this court vide order dt. 7.2.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 58641 of 2022 with an observation to conclude the trial as soon as possible.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 19.4.2022 but the trial has not been concluded as yet.

5. In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a report dt. 14.9.2023 with regard to the present stage of trial has been received by which it appears that the trial is likely to be concluded within a period of six months.

6. No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail application of the petitioner. Accordingly, this application is rejected.

7. However, the trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of six months, failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer of bail. (Sunil Kumar Panwar, J) sushma/- U T
