JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 27-08-2019 The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to take cognizance of the application filed by the petitioner through registered post on 16.01.2019 for grant of arms licence and thereafter grant arms licence to the petitioner. Having regard to the short prayer made by the petitioner herein, I deem it fit and proper to grant liberty to the petitioner to file an additional application by hand in the office of the District Magistrate cum Arms Licensing Authority, Patna within a period of one week from today, which shall be accepted by the office of the District Magistrate, Patna, whereafter the District Magistrate shall take a final decision with regard to grant of arms licence to the petitioner herein within a period of eight weeks.

The writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
