The petitioner is languishing in custody since 23.03.2016 in connection with Sikandra P.S. Case No. 187 of 2015 for the offences instituted under Sections 386 of the IPC and 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.
The prosecution story, in brief, is that the informant received information that this petitioner is demanding ransom on phone from the owner of the brick-kiln and his brother used to collect the ransom money. The police apprehended his brother that is co-accused Swapon Kumar Yadav and recovered cash Rs. 37,000/-, Mobile Phone, one country made pistol with two live cartridges and one Motorcycle from his possession.

No.24987 of 2016 (5) dt.07-09-2016 2/2 It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 23.03.2016 and the charge sheet has been submitted in the present case. There is no allegation of tampering of the witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The name of the petitioner has appeared in the present case on the basis of disclosure made by the co-accused. The other co-accused has already been granted bail vide Annexure-2 to the present application.
On behalf of the State, it has been submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-II, Jamui, in connection with Sikandra P.S.
