1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this writ application is being filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of "Mandamus" commanding and directing the respondent authorities to make due payment of the petitioner who has worked contractual basis as a driver of Fire Fighter Office, Lakhisarai for the period 16.03.2017 to 01.02.2018 for which he has appointed by the office of the District Magistrate, Lakhisarai."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent-

Patna High Court CWJC No.20049 of 2021(2) dt.29-03-2024 2/2 authorities for redressal of his subsisting grievances, if any. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
