The petitioner seeks direction to the Returning Officer for recount of votes polled for the post of Mukhiya, Kabla Gram Panchayat in the District of Nawada.
In my opinion, the remedy for the petitioner for the action complained of would lie before the appropriate forum provided under the Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006 and the Bihar Panchayat Election Rules, 2006 framed thereunder and the petitioner if so advised, can take recourse thereto.
