Petitioner seeks bail in Rani Talab P.S. Case No. 96 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 341, 323, 504, 379, 307/34 Indian Penal Code.

In the written report, there is specific allegation against this petitioner of assaulting the father of the informant with iron rod (Khanti) causing injury on his head. It is mentioned in the impugned order that father of informant got treatment in PMCH and the injury was found to be grievous in nature.

Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for bail of petitioner is rejected at

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56783 of 2018 (3) dt.12-10-2018 2/2 this stage.

Petitioner is given liberty to renew his prayer for bail after six months in the event no substantive progress is made in trial.
