====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 18-04-2018 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned counsel for the Lalit Narain Mithila University and the learned counsel appearing for the State.
Limited grievance of the petitioner in the present writ application is non-payment of dues of arrears of salary on account of the promotion of the father of the petitioner from Demonstrator to Lecturer under the Statute Regulating Promotion of Demonstrators.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the respondents are required to work out the entitlement of
Patna High Court CWJC No.10007 of 2016(2) dt.18-04-2018 2/2 the petitioner with effect from 17.08.1992 to 08.01.2000. considering the nature of the grievance raised in the present writ application, the writ application is disposed off with a direction to the University to work out the arrears taken by the petitioner on account of promotion of the father of the petitioner as Lecturer till the date, 08.01.2000. The respondents are supposed to examine the entitlement expeditiously within a period of sixty days and if there is any admissible entitlement of the petitioner, then, that may be paid within further period of one month. It is needless to state here that on account of such payment, the respondents are required to work out the pensionery benefit admissible to this petitioner in terms of entitlement of the petitioner for post retiral dues.
