JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 10-09-2015 Heard both sides The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Sections 406, 420, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant alleged that vide Challan No. 695, he booked iron angle (patti) worth Rs. 5,13,098/- to be transported through a truck, bearing registration no. HR38F 9278, but the truck did not reach its destination. The owner of the truck and other employees of the Transport Company did not give any satisfactory reply. The petitioner, being a driver of the truck, was apprehended and, on his confession, the truck as well as the iron angle and other items were recovered.

Having considered the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in Bypass P.S. Case No. 138 of 2014. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21958 of 2015 (3) dt.10-09-2015 2/2 The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after remaining one year in custody.
