The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 341. 323, 307, 398(A) and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

It has been alleged that family members of the husband are making demand of dowry. It has further been alleged that they used to pour Kerosene oil and tried to burn her but any how she could save her life. Petitioner is father-in-law of the victim.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let petitioner, Chandrika Raut, be released on bail on
