2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 153, 153(A) (b), 505(i)(b), 153(A)(a), 505(i)(c), 467, 468, 471, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 66, 66(d) of the I.T. Act.

3. The allegation against the petitioner is that he in conspiracy with other co-accused persons made fake and misleading videos and telecast them through his news channels in connection with the beating of workers from Bihar in Tamil Nadu.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. The present

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63374 of 2023(5) dt.29-01-2024 2/2 case has been filed with ulterior motive to harras the petitioner. The news was also displayed on national news channels about the assault upon the labourers of Bihar in state of Tamil Nadu. The petitioner has not prepared any fake video. He has falsely been implicated in this case. The entire allegation against the petitioner is false and fabricated. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 10.3.2023.

5. Learned Sr. Counsel appearing on behalf of E.O.U. has opposed the prayer of bail.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case as well as custody period, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Economic Offence P.S. Case No. 04 of 2023 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate 1st Patna.
