The petitioners have preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 304B, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per the prosecution case, the niece of the informant was tortured by the accused persons including the two petitioners herein and ultimately was done to death. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners are the father-in-law and motherin-law of the deceased. The allegations against them are general and omnibus in nature. The husband of the deceased is in
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67965 of 2021(2) dt.29-04-2022 2/2 custody. The petitioners are in custody since 8.7.2021 and chargesheet has been submitted in the case.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the relationship of the petitioners, the husband of the deceased being in custody and the petitioners having remained in custody for 9 months, the Court directs the two petitioners to be enlarged on bail in connection with Phulwari Sharif P.S. Case no.557 of 2020 on each of them furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Judge IX-cum-A.C.J.M., Patna.
