JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 24-09-2024 Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the bail application with respect to petitioner no. 1, namely, Krishna Kumar @ Moti Krishna.
2. Permission is accorded.
3. Accordingly, the bail application with respect to petitioner no. 1 is dismissed as withdrawn.
4. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner no. 2 and learned A.P.P. for the State.
5. The petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with Dhaka P.S. Case No. 55 of 2024 registered under Sections 341, 324, 326, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

6. As per F.I.R., this petitioner along with named accused persons threw acid on the face of Ashok Sah (father of informant), due to which his whole face was burnt. It is also alleged that the accused persons threatened informant with dire consequences.
7. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case due to village politics. Further submission is that specific accusation of throwing acid is against co-accused Krishna Kumar @ Moti Krishna. This petitioner is only alleged to have threatened informant. Petitioner is a lady and has got clean antecedent.
8. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
9. Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let petitioner no. 2, namely, Rekha Devi, be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of eight weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sikrahna at Dhaka, East Champaran in connection with Dhaka
