The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 33(1)(b), 41 and 42 of the Indian Forest Act.
It is alleged that the petitioner and others were extracting stones from the hills without any valid licence. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that only on suspicion the accusation has been leveled. Statement has been made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29927 of 2015 (2) dt.28-07-2015 2/2 The aforesaid facts constitute ground for consideration of the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner by the learned court below in case the petitioner surrenders within six weeks from today in connection with Forest Case No. 48 of 2009 pending in the court of learned CJM, Jehanabad. This application is disposed of with the aforesaid observation/direction.
