1. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Maheshkhunt P.S. Case No. 144 of 2024 dated 11.08.2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 96, 3(5) of the BNS.
2. Heard Mr. Vivekanand Singh, learned counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. Lakshmi Kant Sharma, learned APP for the State, perused the FIR and trial court's order.
3. In the facts and circumstances of this case and mainly petitioner's the pleas that the so-called victim has refused to undergo medical treatment and on the alleged night she herself left her house on the call of co-accused Dilkhush Kumar and was later recovered from the National Highway which is not refuted by learned APP and also taking note of the petitioner's fair and clean antecedent and his custody period and coupled with the inordinate
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59386 of 2025(2) dt.29-08-2025 2/2 delay on the part of the informant in lodging the FIR after the disappearance of the victim, this court is inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the concerned Court in connection with Maheshkhunt P.S. Case No. 144 of 2024.
